I checked mysql during one of these jobs thats just running. For one thing,
I can see that other jobs start, run, complete, terminate all while this
particular job is just hanging.

Hi again list
I've posted some questions about the bacula cd rescue, but I've managed
to make it work (or some kind of).
Here is what I did.
I've installed bacula director in a Debian lenny box, using apt, and
some clients using different ways (yum, rpm from sourceforge, apt).

In the past I have found this to be very important if you put your
catalog on a volume with more than 1 job on that volume.
When I had a database corruption problem (bad hardware) it was more

Hi Blake,
This looks like a Linux box?
Which kernel? 'uname -a'
Which card? 'lspci -v'
Check all the cables, make sure they're seated correctly? Try a
different cable? Try powering everything off and then powering
everything back on, starting with the outermost SCSI devices?
Regards,
Alex

I realize this is not directly Bacula, but does anyone know what might be my

Hi All,
I've been not yet able to make it work on 2 drives but I noticed, from
the "show storage" command that I see only 1 drive:
* sh storage
Storage: name=DELL-TL4000 address=10.1.5.109 SDport=9103 MaxJobs=8
DeviceName=DELL-TL4000-Drive-1 MediaType=LTO-4 StorageId=1
Hope it will help..
Hi All,
I've been not yet able to make it work on 2 drives but I noticed, from
the "show storage" command that I see only 1 drive:
* sh storage
Storage: name=DELL-TL4000 address=10.1.5.109 SDport=9103 MaxJobs=8
DeviceName=DELL-TL4000-Drive-1 MediaType=LTO-4 StorageId=1
Hope it will help..
I have perused through the Catalog Maintenance section in the documentation:
http://www.bacula.org/en/rel-manual/Catalog_Maintenance.html
looking for some guidance on where to store the Catalog data from the
Catalog Job. (This is the data which gets generated by the
make_catalog_backup script.)

You should check it out with 'mysqladmin processlist' -- you may learn

Hi All
I would like to know the value by default for the directive Maximum Concurrent

Is there an easy way in bacula to re-run a job such as a restore by jobid?
Every now and then I run into a situation where I start a restore but it
fails due to something like an application on the destination machine
needing to be shut down. I'd like a way to just go into bconsole and tell

I think all this jobs are waiting for longer than 1 hour because they have
problems (Network send error to SD. - Bad response from stored to open command
- Network error on data channel...)
I don't want to change "Max Wait Time = 1 hour". If i have problem on my
network, i think that change "Max

Hi All
My Bacula is in version 2.4.4. I upgraded recently (2.0.3 > 2.4.4), this action

Hi All !
I recently upgraded my bacula in version 2.4.4. But I have still a problem
about one backup :

Dear Bacula developers,
In trying to get a slightly unconventional Bacula setup running I
encountered
a couple of things in the code that puzzled me.
I had a problem labeling new media in a (virtual) autochanger. Bacula calls
"loaded" in my changer script in which I return zero for the slot as
