Hello,

It looks to me like you forgot to run
the update_bacula_tables script prior to running jobs.

Best regards,
Kern

Dear all,

since upgrading to 9.4.4
(from 9.2.1) most of my backups fail.

Error message is:
Fatal error: sql_create.c:841 Fill
File table Query failed: INSERT INTO File (FileIndex, JobId,
PathId, FilenameId, LStat, MD5, DeltaSeq) SELECT
batch.FileIndex, batch.JobId, Path.PathId,

FROM batch JOIN Path ON (batch.Path = Path.Path) JOIN
Filename ON (batch.Name = Filename.Name): ERR=Out of range
value for column 'FileIndex' at row 1

I’m using a MySQL
database.

Digging around in
database and increasing MySQL logging, I’ve found that
bacula is inserting records with negative FileIndex into
batch, but in Table File column FileIndex
is unsigned bigint.

Best regards,

Frank

[Bacula-users] Out of range value for column 'FileIndex' at row 1

2019-09-08 Thread Eyermann, Frank
Dear all,

since upgrading to 9.4.4 (from 9.2.1) most of my backups fail.

Error message is:

Fatal error: sql_create.c:841 Fill File table Query failed: INSERT INTO File
(FileIndex, JobId, PathId, FilenameId, LStat, MD5, DeltaSeq) SELECT
batch.FileIndex, batch.JobId, Path.PathId, Filename.FilenameId,batch.LStat,
batch.MD5, batch.DeltaSeq FROM batch JOIN Path ON (batch.Path = Path.Path) JOIN
Filename ON (batch.Name = Filename.Name): ERR=Out of range value for column
'FileIndex' at row 1

I'm using a MySQL database.

Digging around in database and increasing MySQL logging, I've found that bacula
is inserting records with negative FileIndex into batch, but in Table File
column FileIndex is unsigned bigint.
