It seems the mysqldump failed due to access denied to the Bacula mysql
database. But only when trying to dump tablespaces, strange.
You can check if you can dump the bacula database manually using the
mysqldump program. And fix the error.

I found the problem. The reason the upgrade succeeded on the test
server is because the mysql root user does not have a password. It
failed on the production system because the mysql root user does have a
password. After running the update script manually, all appears to be
good. :)
