[Bacula-users] bconsole's prune command

2009-08-22 Thread Tobias Brink
Hello. I did a quick test in a virtual machine and discovered the following: issuing something like prune jobs client=... yes in bconsole leaves always at least one full backup job (the newest) in the catalog, even if it could be pruned because it is much older than the retention period.

[Bacula-users] Using the VirtualFull level with disk backups

2009-08-29 Thread Tobias Brink
Hello. I'm a little bit confused by the new virtual backup feature in Bacula 3.0.2. I want to do weekly differential backups and monthly VirtualFull jobs so that I never (rarely) need to do real full backups which take a lot of time. The problem is that it is impossible to use the same device

Hello! I run Bacula 3.0.2 (dir and sd) from Debian backports and bacula-fd 5.0.2 (Debian testing) on the client and I have a problem with a disk to catalog verify job. I make differential backups every week which get consolidated into a full backup with the VirtualFull feature once a month. Now
