[Bacula-users] MTFSF error positioning tape following reboot

2010-07-09 Thread AndyW
I thought I had fixed this by upgrading to Bacula 5 (as part of Fedora 13 upgrade) and reverting bacula-sd.conf settings to defaults. I can perform reboots, stop restart bacula-sd, and Bacula is able to append. However the other day the system locked up (due to an unrelated issue) I had to

@Win Htin: You are definitely on the money with your suggested change to bacula-sd.conf and your mt commands to set the driver options. I was getting errors like these with my Tandberg SLR7 whenever I tried to append to a tape which had been mounted while the system rebooted:- 16-May

[Bacula-users] Can Bacula set job pool from environmental variable?

2010-05-02 Thread AndyW
Is it possible for Bacula to get the pool to be used for a job from an environmental variable, or otherwise set it programmatically? I have a Tandberg SLR7 tape drive for backup of home directories on our HTPC. I want to have a weekly full backup, followed by daily incremental on the
