Hello, The Bacula Enterprise Edition has this feature. At some point in time (at the latest about 4 years from now) this feature will be back ported to the community version. Hi All, I use Bacula 5.2.6. If I'm not mistaken when I have a backup running and I cancel it, Bacula discards the backup records for the data it has taken to tape which requires Bacula to back up the same files again on the next run. Isn't that correct? If that is correct, is there any way to stop a running backup in which Bacula retains what it has managed to backup so far and picks up where it left off on the next run? I think we don't have this feature yet on community version. Bacula 7.0 has a resume command but I think its behavior its not resuming, but restarting the failed jobs. However, Bacula Enterprise seems to have it. Anyway: maybe you can split this server FileSet in two or tree, that way you can restart only the jobs that failed and would copy partial server data.
