Hello Mark, Unfortunately, this is not possib le currently with Virtual Fulls. Migration and Copy jobs can be between different SDs, but not Virtual Fulls. I have been informed by the developers that it will also not be supported very soon. Sorry for the bad news. Best regards, Bill I have long wished that Bacula would pick next volume and drive as a pair in an atomic operation. This could solve other race conditions caused by certain configurations, for example concurrent jobs writing to the same pool with a multi-drive autochanger. As long as a single read drive is assigned statically at job start, things such as utilizing multiple SDs or multiple autochanger drives for a single job will not be possible. Unfortunately, that is not a simple task. ___ Bacula-users mailing list Bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users

Once it is supported in the Enterprise version, I am sure it will be ported to the Community version at some point shortly after, but of course there is no ETA about this issue being solved/supported. [Bacula-users] Virtual Full backups where nextpool is a different sd
Hi, I'm trying to get virtual full backups working. I'm running 13.0.2. The differentials are being backed-up to a tape library in 1 location which is not usually manned, so I'm trying to get the virtual fulls to be sent to a tape library in our main location. I have the nextpool etc set to be remote -> local but the system seems to be unable to set the read devices to be the remote sd and the write device to be the local sd.
