I noticed in the bacula-dir file, it has maximum volume set to 50GB. What exactly does this mean, I have LTO-4 that can do 800+ GB, do I need ot change the colume size so it uses the whole tape, or does this refer to the size of a chunk it will write to a tape? Thanks! Jasen Jasen M. Lentz,

Hi, I had a query about what volume sizes to use. My backups will be span multiple 2TB disks using the vchanger add on. My current thinking is to have 4 Volumes on each disk with a max volume size of 500gb each. What are the pros and cons of splitting volumes into smaller sizes but having more
