[Bacula-users] bscan on postgresql database

2010-08-11 Thread Pierre Bernhardt
Hello,

is it possible to connect bscan to a postgresql database? I try to scan my tapes
but bscan could not find the bacuala.db which says to me, that bscan do not try
to connect to the postgresql db I given in the command line:

r...@backup:/etc/bacula# bscan -vv -d 99 -c bacula-sd.conf -n bacula -u bacula

11-Aug 16:28 bscan: ERROR TERMINATION at bscan.c:284
sqlite.c:177 Database /var/lib/bacula/bacula.db does not exist, please create
it.

I modified the -h -P -u and -n differently but nothing helps. Any idea?
I know the release is allready deprecated, but at the moment it works and I
need some time
to spend for an upgrade which I not have at the moment.

Cheers..
Pierre

Pierre you need to use a bscan utility compiled for postgresql, the one you
used is for sqlite ...
sqlite.c:177 Database /var/lib/bacula/bacula.db does not exist, please create
 it.

That's why it was bugging :-)

Thank you for the information. I'll reinstall the packages I need for
postgresql.
