Heh. There's a few "check-bacula-backup" plugins at nagios exchange, maybe I'll take a look at some when I get a fresh supply of round tuits. A couple are per-job/client and so should do per-host notification. FWIW I use net-snmp to check/publish the number of relevant processes (incl. bacula)
