The United States will attend the Aero India defence show next month,
hoping to profit from India's hunger for military equipment; it wants
to make India a counterweight to China. The relationship between
China, India and the US is ill-defined; in a region that bristles
with weapons, India also will have to contend with Japan and Russia.
