Firstly, I tend to agree with you that there are no assurances
in the Writings (to my knowledge) the Universal House of Justice will
automatically "recognize" the next Manifestation. If someone knows of a
passage that lends itself to such assurance I would welcome

I think that is pretty much a Baha'i myth. The Qur'an says there is no
people to whom a Prophet has not been sent. I presume that means the West
as
well as the East.

underlying cause of both recognising and not recognising the Manaifestation of
God. This is an eternal question. East - west and any prophetic aspectsare

I have found that it is very difficult not to appear cold and unfriendly
if, when greeted by a female with a loving embrace, I proffer my hand
instead. Nevertheless in view of the above quote I believe this would help
if we would abide by it.
