It's not worth it having to use Linux. I need something Windows.
At the moment, I use Iperius Backup. Not free but cheap considering that I
bought it 12 years ago, and that I never had to pay anything to get new
releases!
Iperius is really nice, but it's not 100% optimized for LTO-7 ba

What about a test with Linux? Can you f.ex eliminate windows and install
an ubuntu on your server?
Then I could help you with your installation. Bareos is really a very good
solution for backuping on tape.

FYI, postgres was running. No error message other than a time out when
trying to connect to the Bareos WB UI.
