Hello, having lot of issues getting this plugin to work.
i see the contrib directory is not even in the branch. Is there a
requirement that it only works on a newer version of bareos?

there is no supported MySQL plugin.
Maybe you're looking for the Percona Xtrabackup plugin? This is shipped
for UCS in the package
bareos-filedaemon-percona-xtrabackup-python-plugin

(4.4.6). But I can't find the plugin in the Ropository:

quick guess: you didn't install the python plugin (i.e. the
python-fd.so) so your fd cannot load python plugins.

Now, on the second host I did the same configs and i have errors:

Yep, it's just the estimate that didn't work. Running it "live" worked fine.

I haven't tested estimate with the plugin and I doubt that the estimate
generally works with python plugins.
Have you tried to just run the backup / restore?
