I suppose that you loaded the /etc/bash_completion file manually...
However, since it's okay now, there's not much problem.
There're some lines in ~/.bashrc for the user to choose whether to use
this programmable completion.

Nicolas's zsh scripts.
There're instructions in the README file, but I wonder if those scripts
could be installed automatically in the future, just like many other
packages do?
