found where it goes wrong. i checked the product and vendor id, and they
match the ones in the script (the productid is 8004). i also do not get an
/dev/bb-* symlink.

I am trying to sync my calendar back and forth between the phone and
kde-pim, but when i set an event to have recurrence on either side, it gets
lost when copying over to the other device. someone willing to fix this?

Mine compiles just fine using the barry-git ebuild from bugzilla. gentoo
amd64 here as well, and if it still doesnt work, try changeing the --boost
parameter from /usr/include to /usr/include/boost
