There is an ftp-server extension for BASE, http://baseplugins.thep.lu.se/wiki/net.sf.basedb.ftp Maybe this can help? It should be possible to get Perl to download files using ftp. And the names are the native names, i.e. no translation is needed to the internal name. Jari Offord, Victoria w

I'm trying to transfer the files held in a project into an external system but I require the location the file is stored so that it can be passed into a Perl script which will copy the file. I am unable to get the location of the file held within the Java 'File' class because the method getInternal
