We have been thinking about a NextGen BASE paper for some time now where
we describe an RNAseq use case and highlight new features in BASE 3.x.
We do not have a deadline for when the paper will be submitted but we do
expect to submit the article during this fall.

Will there be a "Third generation" BASE paper we can cite any time soon?
Happy to continue to cite the 2009 paper but I was just wondering!
