The Tab2mage plugins are not supported (yet) for BASE2.6
The automatic installation is a relatively recent feature of BASE2 and
those plugins do not rely on it. So you would have to go for a manual
installation.

I'm trying to install some plugins in Base 2.6 and only the Example plugins
show up when I choose automatic installation (I copied the other plugins I am
trying to install to /usr/local/base-2.6.0/plugins , where the
