which will list the process, if any.
Also make sure that you're contacting the right host :) BaseX has a

I'm trying to access a database locally via HTTP on port 8984, and I keep
getting "Address already in use" 503 Error.
I've attached the error's log entry.
Nothing else appears to be using that port.
