I suspect I fixed this in the commit https://github.com/gl-bars/basket/commit/647b7368600ec191bfe8440e831543cf97797f0d#diff-02a5c822dac3211b227f53f928b2ef67 (see branch basket-gleb), "Auto-remove empty notes". Is this the same issue that you're fixing?
