Philipp Pfeiffer commented on BATIK-1175: ----------------------------------------- I have the same problem. I am trying to use svg icons for my desktop application's toolbar, based on [Feathericons|https://feathericons.com/]. If I use an icon with circle or ellipse, e. g. "user.svg" from [Feathericons|https://feathericons.com/] I get a distorted display. The head looks like an "egg head" and not round. In other situations, e. g. "help-circle", the outer and inner element are not centered both. Even if I manipulate my svg graphic in different ways, I do not get any acceptable result. Has anybody an idea to solve this issue? > Rendering of small SVG icons distorts circles > --------------------------------------------- > > Key: BATIK-1175 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BATIK-1175 > Project: Batik > Issue Type: Bug > Components: SVG Rasterizer > Affects Versions: 1.7, 1.8 > Environment: Mac OS X Sierra, Windows > Reporter: Jason von Nieda > Priority: Major > Attachments: Screen Shot 2017-01-31 at 9.31.59 AM.png, SvgIcon.java, > position-nozzle-no-safe-z.svg > > > In my application (OpenPnP, http://openpnp.org) I use Batik to render SVG > icons for the user interface. Recently it's been noticed that some of the > shapes in the icons become distorted. In comparing the same file rendered by > several other SVG renderers it's clear that Batik is rendering small circles > (and maybe other shapes) incorrectly. The issue can be seen in the attached > image quite clearly. > The source SVG is also attached. The file was created in InkScape, but I have > also tried exporting it from AutoDesk Graphic and get a similar result. The > icon is rendered at 24x24. > I have also attached the Java code I use to render the icons in SvgIcon.java. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: batik-dev-unsubscr...@xmlgraphics.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: batik-dev-h...@xmlgraphics.apache.org
