Applescript problem inserting COPY NAME and looping it

I open a series of text files and launch the Applescript Facilities setting them to record. However Applescript doesn't record this action when I click on Edit->copy path->Copy Name As I need to add the filename only in the sequence of files how do I add the proper syntax to the open
