I just installed the update on a MacBook Pro running 10.5.8 and it appears to have broken at least a portion of the search and replace function. After re-installing the entire package, rebooting, and going through the usual rigamarole, trying to search and replace (escaped) \r \r\r with \r\r causes

I can script BBEdit to convert text in BBEdit. I’m having trouble with making it into a service: getting text temporarily into the scratchpad, converting to ASCII there, returning it ... that has stumped me, for some reason. Halp? The infrastructure for getting text in and out is fine, I think.
