It looks like a bug to me, related to tab at start of line followed by long lines, when page wrap view is on. If you turn off page wrap view, the long line shows up in the right place, but of course if you print the file you won't see the whole line because it isn't wrapping. So I would report

Is there a feature whereby I could have the same doc open in two windows, but my edits just show up in one of them? So one is reference and one is current state. If not, I know I can just copy paste into a new doc and use that as the reference. But fewer steps is (are?) always better. Thanks
