Before I post to LKML regarding this problem, I would like to get an idea if is restricted to my system, or if it is a general problem with x86 architectures. We know it works on PPC platforms. If your system is also failing, I would like to know your distro. Seems to work fine for me w/ latest wireless-dev built w/ mostly-stock (had to change BCM43XX-MAC80211 to B43) F-7 kernel config on T41 w/ F-7. Don't even have the %X patch. John -- John W. After posting on LKML, I got the answer - it is a peculiarity of openSUSE 10.2. The %X patch is needed if you have a BCM4311, which has an 802.11 core with revision level 10. My systems are now working. Larry ___ Bcm43xx-dev mailing list Bcm43xx-dev@lists.berlios.de https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/bcm43xx-dev
