My build on the BBB itself just failed in *exactly* the same fashion. I got the same error after starting to clone Cloud9. Also, the same follow on errors since I hadn't fixed the script as you did in your patch. So this does not look like it is caused by qemu. Interestingly, I think this build

I think you have pointed the platform compiler to the arm compiler. This would produce a "file not found" because it is an arm binary and not a host binary. You need a host compiler to build a local version of qmake, which will then invoke the toolchain compiler You do need a host version of G+

I haven't really looked too hard, but my first guess would be that in uEnv.txt you would need to disable i2c2 pinmux like what is done with hdmi/emmc when you don't want that. On 3.12.6 kernel I had to actually remove pinmux for hdmi before I rebuilt the kernel. On Sunday, December 15, 2013 4

Actually if you talk about the qmake.conf : this is not a problem as it's easy to change the paths to a different toolchain in there ( to point to -gcc -ld, etc) .
