Hello, Forget all that mess. I got the stepper(s) tested and the coils match up but the red and green wires for the first coil need to be switched for the TMC2100 drivers that are on the Replicape. Although, they, the people behind the Replicape, are leaning on updated boards, one fellow said

Installing the HoRNDIS driver mentioned in this issue seems to work in Catalina without any changes to the to RNDIS or CDC settings. I was able to connect from Catalina with one of our production Beaglebone images without updating the am335x_evm.sh

There were some similar issues a few years ago that were resolved. If you are running three or four year old software, you might have the disease. If you are running recent recommended release version of Debian, then no reports of issues. Make sure you have a clean, reliable power source. ---
