[beagleboard] ADC reading problem

Hi guys, I have been working a lot with the BBW. I made several circuits and i'm trying to read the ADC pins. The problem is that I change a potentiometer connected to any of the ADC pins and the read value only changes after 5 ou 6 readings of the pin... Does any have any ideia why is this hap
