.img file.But when i download the files,i don't konw the difference
between IoT , LXDE and LXQT.
So what the difference about them. In addition, i want to use a

I am wondering if there is a method to flash the eMMC on the BBB by using
serial commands or the USB port? I am trying to automate the flashing step
and do not want to use an SD card, as this is a manual process.

Thank you for the input Chris and Dennis,
I have picked up working on the BBB again and tried plugging it into a
display via the mini HDMI and it seems like the beaglebone does not boot
into the OS as all I see is a blinking cursor top left of the screen.
