Looking at the schematic, it appears that this can indeed be dropped
from the mmc pinconf for BBB as it is just brought out to be connected
to one of the expansion headers (and another pin like you indicated). It
is connected to the MMC on the GP EVM for am335x so this is likely just
a copy paste error when providing the proper pin states for MMC on each
board.
