My experiences in responding to newspaper ads in our Atlanta paper have
been mixed. My ad read: Bernese Mountain Dog. Looking for puppies?
Call us first. $1,000. xxx=.
When I have called the ad department, they want to charge me $208 to run
this ad for 4 days because I don't actually have
. The quality of the training at PetSmart needs to be judged
individually by the quality of the individual trainer. Some great, some
terrible. I would sit in on some classes before deciding to enroll your
pup. I would advise this of any trainer.

There are probably other things, but this is what I can think of right

Good luck to your friend, and I hope the puppy makes it.

I had heard only positive things about Revolution, it would be useful
to
hear negative ones (including second- and third-party accounts).
***My experience with Revolution was not good. I live in tick heaven,
hot, humid climate, lots of woodland, rural setting. The Revolution may

A local Entomologist I know informed me that flushing ticks down the
drain does
not actually kill them. The little bu**ers live to suck another day.
She says
that a sure way to eliminate them permanently is to plop them in a vial
of
alcohol where they soon succumb. I would suggest using Methyl

I have a professionally installed invisible (radio) fence that surrounds

Kenny, you may find that you won't be spending $45,000 in vet bills,
but as many of us have learned, you can't own just one berner at a time.
I discovered when I adopted my second berner, Bailey, through our

I have fostered countless litters of puppies for our local humane
society. Most come to us from less than ideal circumstances. If they
don't have intestinal problems before we get them, they usually do after
a couple of days of being on a different (better) diet. I keep a BIG
bottle of Flagyl
I posed this question to Ruth Reynolds several months ago - rhetorically
- and will do the same here. How many of us buy a car the same way
today as we did 20 or even 10 years ago? Information is power. When
Consumer Reports empowered the buying public with information on how to
buy a car,
public attention to it.

It appears this whole situation was the culmination of a series of
misunderstandings that ended in tragedy. I am not going to either
defend or accuse the officer, but let me just say, things are different
here in the south. Many, many of our more rural counties have no
animal control agency -
Trisha, I'm sorry to hear about the story of your friends. This is the
situation those of us who are aggressively involved in public education
are trying to eliminate. I talked with over 300 PPO's last year, sent

The owner of the dogs for sale is Howard Moore, who may or may not be
some relation to David Moore.
We have not identified who bred the 2 females he has up for sale.
The two new females he purchased, he could not remember the name of the
