I have just, very belatedly, (post bad gales here UK that set me way
behind!) uploaded some new pics from Carole and Tony's visit
their front legs. Our youngest female cat,
Desdemona, especially loves to run her luxurious tail under the dogs' chins as she
walks by. Berners Horses Cats- what can be better!

In addition to Augustus, his non-berner brother Scooter and our horse Blue,
we also breed Maine Coon Cats- the largest, sweetest and most dog like cats
I just knew that a lot of berner folk were also horse people. As both- and breeders
of very large Maine Coon cats- I once had a friend ask me (after seeing our berner)
what mental illness caused my need to be surrounded by giant creatures G I am lucky
enough to be owned by Augustus, a 16 month

My horse breed was English Thoroughbred, I love their intelligence but they
are high maintenance. I had to sell Red Eric because I didn't have enough
hours in the day and I don't bounce off the ground as well as I used
too:-))
When my mortgage is paid off I'd like a paint gelding:-)

Gave up my English pleasure mare, Caprice, when I got married about a zillion
years ago. I occasionally remind my husband that I'm still not quite sure
about that trade.
No horses now...a move to the city put the pox on that.
In the past I have had mostly Quarter horse types. Had one Tennessee Walker,
and an Arabian. The last horse was a slaughter house reject, and he lived
for another 2 yrs, before succumbing to whatever was ailing him. We think he
was over

Love them both! Started out with two Appaloosas in the early 1980's,
Josie and Yamaha, who we rode Western only and into the mountains for
week-long horse camping trips. Then came those beautiful black Tennessee
Walking Horses (the glide ride) who are all-purpose. For those who think
they are

So surprised that there are so many horse lovers. I grew up with a TB mare
and then got married and had kids. We moved to a farm after 10 years of
missing horses. And now we have 4 horses. Two Quarter horse geldings that
