Just a shot in the dark, but when you open the PDFs in Adobe Reader, and check
the properties, is there any pattern among PDF versions?

Are these PDFs in email attachments? I don't think my users would let me keep
them on 4.2, they love their HTML email too much. I'm assuming the 9650 is a
typo, that starts at OS6.

options - email setting - change the enable html to NO -
Try opening the pdf again
Also check if the attachment service is installed on the bb -
You may want to upgrade these bbs to later oses also

It turns out its the server. When I moved my account to this server, now
I cant open this attachment either. That's as far as I got so far
for BES Admin's to discuss issues, etc.
