Hi,
Question:
Since BES Express supports BIS accounts does BES 5 also support BIS accounts?

BES does not support BIS accounts. The only interaction BES has with BIS
accounts is that a BES can block access to BIS. If a
BlackBerry smartphone is BES provisioned and the BES Admin does not block
access to BIS a user on BES/BES Express can successfully
use BIS.

Thanks for your reply.
Then there is no reason for us to keep BES 5 (I believe), thanks!

unless of course you're going to BES Express which will still give you 95% of
everything you'd get with full BES.
We are seriously thinking about it!

For us, High Availability would be the compelling reason to go to BES
full from BESX. We don't need that at the moment, and BESX does
practically everything else. For free!

I was planning a nice, complex BES5 upgrade strategy but I think we
might just upgrade in-place with an ESX snapshot to roll back to, just
in case.
