10.4.3, 1.5 gig RAM... no additional plug-ins loaded... looks like a problem with the old SlimP3 protocol? Same crash in every version I've tried since about the thirteenth. here's a log excerpt: 2005-12-28 08:14:23.6675 SlimServer OSDetect init... 2005-12-28 08:14:23.6682 SlimServer OS

Adrian, Alien 1.00a (see http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=19054) should work with the latest 6.5. Is there any reason I should upgrade with 6.2? I'm preparing a SlimCD release, which is still based on 6.2.2. It's currently using AlienBBC 1.0. Should I update? -- Michael

For 6.2 there is one cosmetic bug fix in 1.00a relavent to 6.2 (correct display of escaped characters on the player). I would stick with 1.00 for the moment for your CD. Most of the changes were to work with 6.5... -- Triode

Yes, Flac - Flac is definatly enabled. The are three options; FLAC to FLAC (Built in), FLAC To MP3 (FLAC/LAME) and FLAC to Wav (FLAC). The first and last are both enbled with FLAC to MP3 disabled. But the bug is not just with FLAC, its the same with any type. -- dangerous_dom
