The controller downloaded the r7804 update over wireless.
After update controller cannot connect to mysqueezebox.com althrough
diagnostics says connected to wireless - all other parts of diagnostic
have failed. Nothing has changed since update and there is no way out
of the screen.

I have been able to connect after doing a Factory Reset and have to go
through network config as well as entering mysqueezebox.com account
details.

Similar experience here.
I hit the 'home' button (or might have been 'left') and it asked to
choose a region, then wireless AP.
It then asked for email password for mysqueezebox.com.
Liking the UI so far - seems quicker. :)

I just updated my Ubuntu 9.04 Sqeeuzebox from r28159 to r28189 - all
went well.
I then updated my Controller to r7084 firmware and after rebooting it
can no longer pick up an IP address - it gets this via DHCP from dnsmasq
running on the Ubuntu 9.04 PC. When I go into the new Diagnostics screen
I had the same problem as everyone else - failed to get an IP address
after upgrading, but selecting my region fixed the problem.
One option I miss is the ability to turn off my SB3 - there' a menu
item that will turn off the Controller (or put it to sleep) but no way
to turn off my SB3 (or

I forgot to say that I already tried factory resetting.
I had to do this in order to get out of the loop and reflash / re-enter
setup.

Seems that my controller has stopped rebooting after yet another
firmware upgrade (5th or 6th one I believe).
Currently I hold my breath and dare not turn off the controller ;)

Pressing the + during reboot only shows a + at the Free your music
screen but reboots anyway.

thanks, somehow the factory reset was now done (after 100 reboots).
Then I choose GERMAN and was not able to complete the setup - it looped
again.
Now I am on ENGLISH and it seems to work. This setup really scared me -
saw me on the phone calling tech.support!

Player Off is really missing...
Also if I browse music pressing Play just clears the playlist, but if I
press enter and press play on a song the whole album is in the playlist.
Maybe that is this partymode stuff but I was not able to find a menu to
change partymode etc.
