I had read elsewhere that 7.5 embedded wasn't working too well when
configured to use MySQL. I thought I'd give it a try.
My experience was that it runs through an initial complete scan without
errors.
What seems broken is that on any subsequent scan for new and changed
music, just at the end
What OS are you running it on? I haven't tried it in a while, but had
no luck at all with running MySQL in this branch.

These things can be sticky. If the new name minus diacritics and
punctuation maps to the same string as the old name minus diacritics and
punctuation, the system does not notice the difference and keeps the old
(mis-)spelling in the database, even if it does not occur anywhere in

I just tried it again with MySQL (on Windows Server 2003 with my own
instance of MySQL), and it ran the initial scan successfully and the
library appeared in full when browsing. That's good news.
But... the initial full scan was very slow. It ran in 1 hr, 13
minutes, compared to a full scan in
About the same time for this scan - 1:12:37. I didn't see any unusual
pegging of the CPU.

Hi there!
I have been using an older 7.5 Embedded for a while (running on an
ARM-based Sheevaplug), and it was working great. There were a couple
small bugs here and there so I decided to grab a newer nightly and see
what that had in store for me. The iTunes integration wasn't working,
