Yeah, spoke too soon: after the latest upgrade mine's looping too (in
German).

Some of the plugins used to reside in the Extra-section of the
controller. I'm specifically thinking of Other players and Lyrics, but
there might be others.
Is there any way of using them with the new firmware, or do they need
to be rewritten as apps?

Did you install SC SqueezeCenter 7.4 r28182 (or later) on your server? I
see the same when I try to connect to my server with an older SC
version, but it connects to and plays when I switch to the server with
SC 7.4 r28182.

I also had lots of trouble after updating the firmware. I continuously
got an error after entering password of mysqueezebox.com. After
reregistering @ mysqueezebox.com, everything worked ok.

After update controller cannot connect to mysqueezebox.com althrough
diagnostics says connected to wireless - all other parts of diagnostic
have failed. Nothing has changed since update and there is no way out
of the screen.

Similar experience here.
I hit the 'home' button (or might have been 'left') and it asked to
choose a region, then wireless AP.
It then asked for email password for mysqueezebox.com.
Liking the UI so far - seems quicker. :)

I also can't use WPS with my AP. Other devices work first time.

I had to do this in order to get out of the loop and reflash / re-enter
setup.

Seems that my controller has stopped rebooting after yet another

I had all the same problems... wouldn't connect...had to do a reset of
the controller...rebooted several times (which confused the hell out of
me), and now it won't accept my username/password...even though I have
meticulously entered it 5-6 times (and confirmed that it was correct by
logging
after the update it only wants to connect to mysqueezebox.com
and during that it reboots.
Pressing the + during reboot only shows a + at the Free your music
screen but reboots anyway.
I really don't know what to do!

do a factory reset. If you remove the battery, press-hold +, and then

Player Off is really missing...
Also if I browse music pressing Play just clears the playlist, but if I
press enter and press play on a song the whole album is in the playlist.
Maybe that is this partymode stuff but I was not able to find a menu to
change partymode etc.
