we don't have a Blender 2.71 release for Mac 32bit on our servers? Is
that build missing or do we drop 32 bit there?
If that's the case, the website should be updated, Mac maintainers
please report back here.

Not sure it should be 'a' release. I don't see crucial regressions
code-wise. Why not just update OSX build on ftp? :)

I built after this update, but still don't see jpeg2000 in my output
options. I just got building again in the last couple weeks so I'm a bit

In my experience it is not just the code takes a long time but is the lack of
specific useful inline documentation and a need for a really good IDE/debugger
workflow. So I started making my own code docs when I figured out coding
techniques. The code in general is also not usually modular
Isn't it a universal binary? Are you using xcode for compiling?

I checked it and jpeg200 is showing in output format as well as reading
imageformat now.
Check if you made some muddle with your config.
Sure you don't use the old and dropped full config copy ?

Hmm, this is a fresh checkout and I have not created a local scons config
file. I did a scons clean and rebuilt, but still it does not show up.
