Re: [Bf-committers] Addons bundling python modules override blender's bundled modules
Hi! Blend4Web took this into account. We will drop 'requests' in future release. On 11.08.2017 10:32, Sergey Sharybin wrote: > Hi, > > All official Blender builds are shipping with requests. Hi, All official Blender builds are shipping with requests. There is no reason for any addon to ship it's own requests. [Bf-committers] Addons bundling python modules override blender's bundled modules
Just a heads up: I noticed that the blend4web addon bundles its own version of requests, which seems to completely override blender's version of requests. As in, running 'import requests' in the python console imports blend4web's version. This could conceivably cause an addon bundling an old version of a module (in the same manner as blend4web is bundling requests) to unintentionally break other addons. I haven't looked too deeply into it, but it might be worth investigating. ___ Bf-committers mailing list Bf-committers@blender.org https://lists.blender.org/mailman/listinfo/bf-committers
