SALARY RANGE: Based on skills & experience
DEPARTMENT: Global Information Technology
POSITION TITLE: Treasury IT
LOCATION: New York City
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Ideal candidate must have functional
and technical knowledge of Treasury and Repo activity. Daily IT support,
project management and development. Interpersonal skills are required as
there is constant interaction with Front office and other departments.
The following are pluses [in order of importance]
1. Knowledge of Kondor
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop business requirements
- Manage day-to-day application / user support group
- Lead / assist in module testing / integration efforts
- Support firm compliance process
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Perl, Korn Shell (or other scripting / programming
languages)
- Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Knowledge of treasury products and related financial concepts
- Knowledge of Unix platform
- Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills
- Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong organization skills
Qualification:
- BS or higher degree in CS, MIS, EE, Mathematics or equivalent
- 2+ years' experience in financial market support role
- Minor in accounting or finance a plus
