Fresh Notes from the manager - He'll still see some folks with the
claims/insurance side as well. Try to ask folks if they have done some
integration testing - that way they know how different systems integrate
with each other.

 

Either of these experiences:

1.       Medical/Billing  Experience (claims/insurance is fine).

2.       Lab Diagnostic Experience.

 

Nice to have:

JSON as add on skill is good not a primary requirement.                    

 

Someone with solid Manual QA testing skills, who understands how different
systems integrate/ talk to each other in terms of workflow. JSON and
Webservices will be nice to have (understanding the data in Webservice not
writing a webservice).

 

The Quality Assurance Analyst Consultant is an integral member of the
Information technology team, responsible for delivering high quality
clinical applications. Areas of focus for this position include: developing,
modifying, and executing automation and manual software test plans;
analyzing and writing test standards and procedures; maintaining
documentation of results; and working closely with the Software Development
team in resolving problems. The right candidate will be team player,
detailed oriented, analytical, able to effectively communicate with teams,
and able to work under strict time constraints. A strong desire for
producing quality products is essential.

 

Required Skills/Experience:

*         5+ years direct experience functioning in a quality assurance
environment.

*         Experience in Functional, Regression and Integration testing of
web and client-server applications. 

*         Strong structured testing knowledge and thorough understanding of
quality assurance testing applications and concepts.

*         Proactively takes initiative and demonstrates a high level of
accountability.

*         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

*         Hands-on Experience with medical billing software and systems, and
workflow management.

 

Desired Skills:

*         Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Informatics, Information Systems,
Business or equivalent combination of professional training and experience.

*         Experience with HL7.

*         Experience within an Agile/Scrum environment.

*         Experience with JIRA.
