Me too. Even just a view-only function for PDF reading would be extremely
helpful. I’ve looked at other options. The closet one is Bookend but I
just love the scripting ability of BibDesk.

I would also gladly pay for bibdesk on iOS. If I could cite texts on my iPad
through a custom keyboard, like some clipboard managers for iOS currently do,
it would be enough for me.

I think there is a need for such an app. I used to use pocketbib, which is no
longer supported. I would pay for a bibliography reader on the iPad, that's a
terrific way to read papers on the iPad.
(I'd also pay for bibdesk, it's among the three apps I can't do without :)
