So I use match-destination in BIND views on a server with multiple interfaces.
If I want to configure one of these interfaces to be part of an anycast
network, should I change match-destination to the anycast loopback address in
that particular view?
Any thoughts?

Is it possible to tell each view to listen on certain interfaces?
I know Listen-on is in general options so i was wondering if views have
something similar.

Wouldn't this have mixed (one) caches?

Yes, it's 64bit.

Hi,
I got a server with 16GB memory, want to install 2 BIND on CentOS, one cache
only and another authoritative.
Is it better to install 2 OS virtually and run BIND in them or run 2 instances
of BIND on the same OS? I mean what is the best practice to take advantage of
the hardware resources wit

For an ISP, is there any risk in configuring BIND DNS as cache only and adding
customer's reverse mapping zones?
Any other possible implementations?

Hi list,
Is it ok to upgrade from 9.4.2 to 9.7.0-P2 directly?
i mean i already have 9.4.2, i can install latest one with ./configure, make
and make install, is there a problem with this steps?
please note i already tried it and it worked fine on a cache-only DNS.

Sasa
anycast looks fine and cheaper for us.
Thanks everyone, I appreciate your help.

Hello everyone,
Any one used any load balancer for DNSs? any recommendation? it's 2
caching-only DNSs, and I'd like to make a load balance between them using
software.

Hello,
for a 192.168.199.64/26 in zone file to delegate to a customer;
should i put subnet number:
64/26 IN NS ns1.example.com.
64/26 IN NS ns2.example.com.
or host ranges:
64-126 IN NS ns1.example.com.
64-126 IN NS ns2.example.com.
.
.
$GENERATE 65-126 $ CNAME $.65-126

Hi,
What is the best practice when using PTR in an ISP? is it dividing IP blocks
(like; x.x.x.in-addr.arpa.) and therefore having more than one PTR zone file?
or just use x.in-addr.arpa.and include everything inside that file?
