This is a formal notice that the BIND 9 team plans to deprecate the old-style
DLZ drivers
that had to be enabled at compile time, in favor of DLZ modules that could be
compiled
independently and could be dynamically loaded at run-time.
The DLZ drivers were added into BIND 9 in

Testing dnssec-policy with BIND-9.16.21:
I'd like to better understand the "max-zone-ttl"-directive.
So I defined "max-zone-ttl 3600s;" within the dnssec-policy-options, but
when I configure the default zone TTL or even a ressource record TTL
higher than the "max-zone-ttl" (for
Reading and parsing EDE is added in June 2020. versions 9.11.20, 9.16.4,
9.17.2.
Setting EDE is not yet supported. There has been done preliminary work
to set a few options at the IETF110 Hackathon, but this work hasn't made
any BIND release yet.
