Bird Studies Canada - Ontario Region is seeking volunteers to conduct
Whip-poor-will surveys at existing Central Ontario Owl Survey routes this June,
and we are hoping that you will be able to help.

This morning driving west on highway 2 at Smithfield, I saw two Whimbrels fly
over my head. Despite almost putting my car in the ditch, I jumped out and
watched the birds fly to fields to the east. Smithfield is located on HW 2 in
between Brighton and Trenton. The closest 911 number

Bird sightings include:
Pileated Woodpecker, 1 adult BALD EAGLE, 2 Belted Kingfishers, a few Common
Ravens, 2 Barn Swallows, 1 White-crowned
