Spring birding is in full swing at Presqu'ile Provincial Park. Some
have even described the events of recent days (especially Monday) as a
fallout. There may not have been any exotic birds this week, but few
birders could go away disappointed after a day's birding in the Park.
A rather lat
The Kestrels have arrrived in the Carleton Place area in force. There are
pairs in the farmers fields north of town many of them already mating. In
Appleton just north of Carleton Place there were 100s of Tree swallows today.

I made a quick trip about Noon around the "Wet Woods" at Tommy Thompson Park
and saw the following birds:

On a walk around the storm water management pond in the Summerside subdivision
I heard at least two Eastern Meadowlarks. I caught a quick glimpse of one as
it flew over from one area of the field to another.

I birded LaSalle Park in Burlington yesterday for 2 hours in the early
afternoon just after the rail subsided. I found Ruby-crowed Kinglet with small
