Good morning,
The Parasitic Jaeger was still present in the general vicinity of Ottawa
Beach this morning between 6:45 and 7:15 am. It spent most of its time
loafing about 800 to 1000 m offshore but twice got up and attacked
Ring-billed Gulls along Ottawa Beach for its breakfast. Thanks to those

Black Vulture
In a field south of Tilbury with large puddles this afternoon there was
a large flock (over 100) of plovers.
Most of them were A. Golden Plovers. Also seen were a few Least
Sandpipers, Semi-palmated
Sandipers, Pectoral Sandpipers and one Short-billed Dowitcher.
Directions: From the main
On Friday I was brought two Chimney Swifts raised from nestlings but unable
to fly. If I am able to get them flying by Thursday are there any places in
southern Ontario I could drive them to, to release them?
