I checked out the spots mentioned by Kelly Morrisey this morning. The
Detroit River had nothing mentionable, but the pond located on the
Ganatchio Trail south of Wyandotte Street was very productive. I only saw
one Ruddy Duck, but there were also four Buffleheads, two Pied-billed
Grebes, and

Each year, Ontario participants donate one spring
Twenty people joined Bernie Ladouceur and myself on a search for migrant spring
waterfowl east of Ottawa this past Sunday. We saw a total of 49 species
including 4 geese, 12 ducks, 3 hawks and 2 falcons. There was virtually no
remaining spring flooding and the lagoon (Casselman and Embrun)
At 5:45 the Fish Crow was still calling and very visible in the parking lot at
the east side of the marina

in stop and go traffic on the East bound 403, just West of the Hwy 6 North

Park/Credit River mouth, Jack Darling Park/Rattray Marsh from 11:30 am to 7:45
